The DollsLikeMe.com Multicultural Family Fun Cruise promises to be an amazing vacation experience for multicultural families – and enlightened families who wish to expose their children to multicultural experiences. On July 6 – 12, 2008, we will cruise on the Norwegian (NCL) Spirit from New York Harbor to the Bahamas and Florida, where families can participate in a multitude of onboard activities and fun shore excursions designed to entertain even the finickiest of young children.

Onboard, children can participate in NCL’s world-class, “Kids Crew” programs and DollsLikeMe.com-sponsored activities, designed specifically for multicultural families. Kids cruising will enjoy games, contests, prizes, and family-friendly movies. There is also an award-winning money management workshop for children, How Money Works for Kids. Parents are welcome to participate in all of the NCL Spirit’s “Freestyle"” cruise offerings including more than a dozen places to eat and drink (a few have surcharges), a library, Casino, basketball court, driving range, movie theatre, several spa and fitness facilities and the DollsLikeMe.com-sponsored seminar, Positive Self-Esteem Parenting. The seminar features workshops by leading industry experts on topics including transracial adoption and parenting, building and maintaining self-esteem in children of color, and recognizing bigotry and racism and its effects on your family – to name a few – all free to DollsLikeMe.com cruise participants.
